Our infinity pool sits at the edge of the headland, with a vanishing edge that lines up with the horizon — so from the water, the surface appears to run straight into the Indian Ocean. It's the feature guests photograph most and the one they mention first in reviews.
Service Overview
The pool faces east over Rekawa Bay. Loungers run along the sea side for the morning sun, with shade at the back for the middle of the day, and a bar service that keeps going through the afternoon. The best light arrives in the hour before sunset, when the pool, the bay and the sky briefly become the same colour.
Because we're a twenty-room resort, the pool never feels crowded. There's no scramble for a lounger and no queue at the bar. Guests who come down for one swim tend to stay for three.
The water is cool, clean and refreshing against the coastal heat — an easy way to reset in the middle of the day. Set against the sound of the waves below and the birdlife in the garden around it, an afternoon by the pool is, for a lot of our guests, the whole point of coming to Rekawa.
